About Us

Bruce Linder, PT became a physical therapist in 1980 (the same year Ronald Reagan was elected president). Needless to say Bruce has a wealth of experience in helping patients. His resume includes work or consultation at many of Michigan’s finest health care centers, including, St. Joseph on the Boulevard (Detroit), Sparrow Hospital, the Greater Lansing Visiting Nurses Association, the Eaton County Medical Care Facility, and the Barry – Eaton  County Health Department.

Most recently Bruce has specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation and helping the athlete return to active sports competition. He has a strong working relationship with many surgeons in the Lansing area and frequently gets their most difficult or sensitive cases. Bruce understands when to respect a fragile injury, as well as when to help the patient push the envelope so they can return to peak sports play.

Bruce has been active in the community. He is a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus (a good will organization within the Catholic church). Under his leadership his council received national recognition in earning a Star Council Award.

Bruce has been active in youth sports. He has been an athletic director for the St. Michael Middle School in Grand Ledge. He has also coached many sports including football (11 years) basketball (4 years) and baseball (2) years. His many years of coaching have greatly helped in understanding what is needed to return an athlete to competition.

In this ever changing world of co-pays, deductibles and coordinated benefits, Sheila is able to smoothly work through the billing process, and is happy to make a complementary call to check your insurance benefits.

Like most staff members at Linder PT, Sheila has been an active member of her community. For 8 years Sheila was a board member for the Grand Ledge Parks and Recreation department. She maintains a love of the outdoors spending summer weekends at the lake with her family and friends.

Kelsey Thelen, began working for Linder PT in 2000 as an office receptionist. Over ten years later, Kelsey’s role has greatly expanded with experience in records management, patient billing, ordering supplies and maintenance of the clinic at large. Kelsey most enjoys her responsibilities that allow her meet and become familiar with patients on an individual basis.

Kelsey earned an Associate’s degree from Lansing Community College and will graduate from Central Michigan University later this year with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Community Development/Public Administration.

Outside of the office, Kelsey enjoys gardening, spending time at Lake Michigan, and pretty much any other outdoor activity.
